Survey Analytics

Understand your survey results with real-time dashboards, charts, AI-powered insights, and data exports.

Response Dashboard

Once your survey starts collecting responses, the analytics dashboard gives you a real-time view of how things are going. You'll find it under the Analytics tab on your survey's detail page.

Stat Cards

At the top of the dashboard, stat cards show key metrics at a glance:

  • Total responses collected so far.
  • Completion rate - the percentage of people who finished the entire survey after starting it.
  • Average completion time - how long respondents typically spend.
  • Budget remaining - how many more responses your current budget can cover.

Charts and Visualizations

Each question in your survey gets its own visualization, automatically chosen based on the question type:

  • Bar charts for single and multiple choice questions, showing response distribution across options. You can toggle between bar and donut chart views.
  • Donut charts as an alternative proportional view for choice questions.
  • Scale distribution charts for scale questions, showing how responses spread across the rating range.
  • Heatmaps for matrix questions, displaying response intensity across rows and columns with color shading, row means, and an overall mean.
  • Stacked and grouped bar charts for demographic cross-tabulation breakdowns.
  • Text response lists for short and long text questions, showing individual responses.

AI-Powered Insights

Opinyze's AI can analyze your survey results and surface insights you might miss. This is especially valuable for open-ended text responses, where the AI extracts common themes, sentiment patterns, and key takeaways that would take hours to identify manually.

The AI can also filter and cross-tabulate results on the fly, helping you dig deeper without manual data work.

Filtering by Demographics

Break down any question's results by demographic segments. For example, see how men vs. women answered a particular question, or compare responses across age groups. This is invaluable for understanding how different audiences feel about the same topic.

Exporting Data

When you need to take your data elsewhere, Opinyze supports multiple export formats:

  • CSV for spreadsheet analysis in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • PDF reports with charts and summary statistics included.

Check your analytics regularly while the survey is live. If you spot issues early (like a confusing question with unusual response patterns), you can pause the survey and make adjustments.
